Athletics Events Planned For This Month
21km SA Championships – 2016
On Saturday, 30 July 2016 our athletes participated in the SA 21km Championship in Port Elizabeth.
Our team did very well and brought 2 medals back.
Abednico Mashaba was 14th overall and ran his PB and Collin Khoza was 15th overall and came 3rd in the age category 35 + and won a bronze medal. Nel Mtsweni came 1st in the age category 50+ and won a gold medal.
It was a tough competition with a lot of international athletes and the fastest of SA athletes competed for the R50 000 prize money.
