Good day all Cross Country friends.
The ice is broken and the first leagues of the season are completed. The league at High school Lydenburg went well and there were no issues from the league at Secunda. Well done to everyone who put in extra effort to make the cross country special to the athletes.
It was the first year at High school Lydenburg and the feedback from Karen and Boikie was very positive.
The results at both leagues will be attached to this email.
I want to emphasise that all athletes must hand in a certified birth or identity document as this is compulsory when you are selected later this year to the Mpumalanga team for the Interprovincial Championships as well as the SA Championships.
The second league will take place on the 2nd of May 2015 and the venues will be:
Ngangala- Hockey Farm (Morning Program)
Gert Sibande- Wittenberg Schule, Piet Retief (Morning Program).
Ehlanzeni- Bushbuckridge (Morning Program).
The third league will take place on the 9th of May 2015 and the venues are:
Nkangala- Delmas Country Lodge, Delmas (Morning Program)
Gert Sibande- Sasol Athletic club, Secunda (Morning Program)
Ehlanzeni- No league.
Take note, the entry fee for 2015 will be R20 and the temporarily licence for the athletes 13 years and older who is not member of an affiliated club is R25.
