Athletics Mpumalanga is the governing body over athletics in Mpumalanga, being 3 Districts i.e.: Ehlanzeni – Nelspruit Gert Sibande – Secunda and Nkangala – Middelburg.

The mission of Athletics Mpumalanga is to develop athletics by providing athletes, coaches, technical officials and administrators with the utmost opportunities for participation in athletics events.
We aim to bring athletics to the athletes in order to ensure that all possible up and coming athletes have the opportunity to show what they are capable of.
Track and field sports disciplines include all manner of runnng events, jumping such as high jump and long jump and throwing skills shuch as shotput, discus throwing and javelin.

OUR COACHES ARE TRAINED BY TOP FACILITATORS AND COACHES
Technical Officials are trained on Provincial level in order to obtain ASA Level 1 and ASA Level 2 which will allow them to officiate at any of our athletic events. ASA Level 2 Technical Officials are invited to officiate at certain ASA events.
Our Coaches are trained by top facilitators and coaches to ensure that they are equipped with the latest and best information and techniques to enable them to assist their athletes to become the best they can be.

Step 1: Familiarise yourself with the Criteria which is required to qualify for the Provincial team.
Step 2: Identify the leagues you want to participate in throughout the season. (Provisional list CC Fixtures – 3103 )
Step 3: Identify whether it will be a Morning Program or Afternoon Program Morning Program 3103
Step 4: Submit a completed Cross Country – REGISTRATION form-2019 together with your Certified Birth Certificate/ID Document and photo,to the league Co-ordinator at the next league. Please submit only once for 2019.
